The system is designed before the installer visits

SolarMe sizes the plant from the electricity bill, sanctioned load and state policy caps, then reads the roof for usable area and shading to place panels and draw the SLD — and shows the result on the buyer's own roof in AR.

How it works

From a bill to a buildable design

STEP 01

Read the bill

Consumption history sets the target generation, so the plant is sized against what the household actually uses.

STEP 02

Apply load and policy caps

Sanctioned load and the state's own policy ceilings bound the system before anything is drawn — the design starts inside what is permissible.

STEP 03

Read the roof

Usable area and shading are assessed from the roof itself, separating the surface that can carry panels from the surface that cannot.

STEP 04

Place the panels

Modules are laid out on the area that survives the shading read, giving a layout tied to this roof rather than a generic template.

STEP 05

Draw the SLD

The single-line diagram comes out of the same design, so the electrical documentation matches the layout it describes.

STEP 06

Show it in AR

The buyer sees the proposed array standing on their own roof before anyone quotes or schedules a visit.

The design is permissible by construction
